now i know i said i'd blog on the 25th or 26th, but my melbourne relatives that came with us to china only just left to go back to melbourne, so heres updates =]

so i was away for a good two weeks with another 13 family members which was quite awesome because there was enough people for a private tour group which meant;
` we could sleep in a bit later if we chose to
` we could choose where we wanted to go in free time and have the tourguide take us there instead of needing to find our own way there like when travelling with strangers
` we could take our time instead of needing to hurry with the group
` we could choose to do our tour in different orders =D

The Highlights of China;
` the pretty light decorations at night =]... honestly decorated nicely
` i witnessed my first solar eclipse. i was also on the old City Wall of Xi An at the time so i had a very very good view of it =]. it was so pretty because the sun was looking like an orange version of my beloved moon. in china you can't really see the moon. and the sun is also a dim orange because it's covered by smog/fog/smoke/clouds. in Xi An that is anyway.
` i got to go up very very high up on the Oriental Pearl TV tower in Shang Hai and walk on the clear glass floor which looks down on the city ^-^ [yes i love heights]. me and andrea were jumping up and down making the mums and melinda scream in fright ROFLMAO. yeah it was just glass and only glass with nothing to save you if it happened to break and you fall the hundreds of meters LOL. no net, no nothing, which is why i loved it because it didn't block the pretty views of being so high up =]
` the fact that Bei Jing market people pull you back desperately so you know you can buy the stuff for cheaper
` it was very cold there ^-^
` the food was extremely cheap [i could buy ice cream for less than 50 aussie cents =D... it was my paradise... yehp i ate ice cream more than once a day there because it was so cheap]
` i ate a lot of yummy food =D. even got the chance to eat at a 5 star restaurant which is meant to be the number one most famous restaurant in Bei Jing which serves Peking duck **drools**. it's a MUST try!!! the skin is so crispy and omg i can't describe it in words, you just gotta eat it yourself!
` the shops close late = very good for midnight snacks
` the really cool Kung Fu show in Bei Jing. i was surprisingly interested throughout the whole show. very well done.
` the Terracotta Warriors were AMAZING!!!
` the fact that you never really need to wait in line for very long because they have so many workers
` there are many adorable little marshmellow babies ^-^
` taxi's are EXTREMELY cheap. a 20 minute drive costs Y19RMB-Y23RMB which is approx $3-$4 all up... so with 4 people in the taxi, its around 1 aussie dollar each =O
` walking around normally you can bump into people shooting a movie/drama

The Lowlights of China;
` the amount of people that hark and spit their phlem on the walkways was horrendous. i was literally looking at the floor everytime i stepped so i wouldn't step on the waste that came out the many people in the streets
` things that were not edible were still around the same price as australia
` the air in the smaller cities/countries [Xi An, Guilin and Yang Shuo] was disgusting! literally dust floating in the air that cars, seats and floors were dusty
` the amount of little kids that just pee on the roads. also the amount of people that don't close their toilet cubicle doors. LOL there was even this one time when we were in front of the biggest pit for terracota warriors and this kid came out, fondled with his zipper and peeed onto the main entrance pole of that pit =.=
` the SQUATING toilets
` the nutty traffic. you'd literally lose an arm if you dangled your arm out the window because thats how close they drive. also in china, it seems pedestrians have to give way to cars rather than cars giving way to pedestrians =.=.
` people don't really wave at you. out of the many people we waved at [due to boredom on the bus] only one lady waved back, and 2 adorable marshmellow babys waved while we shopped =D.
` there are MANY guys that have a tendency to do the head to toe and back up to the head checking out. and they do it very obviously and don't even mind if you realise it. even if you chuck them a disgusted look they still do it. the stare back technique does NOT work because then you'd just end up making awkward eye contact with them and they do NOT look away. luckily for us we had nelson to scare them off with homosexual gestures [such as rubbing his nipples, winking, licking his lips and eating food in a sexual manner].

Uncategorised;
` the waiters in china stand there and stare at you while you eat. kind of awkward but i guess they'll know when you need their service. and yes theres so many people working that there's enough waiters staring at each group of guest.
` the hoteliers help bring your luggage up for you, only they expect a tip in return =]
` the old people in china are more fit than me. just imagine an old grandpa [literally very old old] playing hacky-sack. well in china they play with shuttlecocks. i was shocked at how energetic they were moving around to kick the shuttlecock
` there are people that steal stuff and walk up to you quitely telling you they stole the item and asks if you want to buy them

Things I Learned;
` you have to be careful of red taxi's with X in their number-plate because they are private owned taxi's and so they can cheat the prices and rip you off and are usually their own boss. the rest of the taxi's are owned by companies. you should always ask for a receipt so if you realise they were taking you around in circles to rip you off then you can call up and complain and they would usually compensate you with the taxi driver getting in trouble. so company owned taxi drivers are usually too scared to trick you whereas private owned taxi drivers would usually rip you off especially if you are a foreigner
` china people are only allowed ONE child unless your first born is disabled, then you are allowed to have one more child 5 years later. also if the irst born of a farmer is a girl then they are also allowed to have another child 5 years later. if a family has more than one child otherwise, they would face serious charges. only because of this law which has been imposed for the last 30 years or so, there is starting to be less young people working so they may change this law again
` the retirement age of people in china is 56
` there are many pick pocketers that look spanish or mexican which alludes you to thinking that they are also foreigners and hence won't pick pocket you. but in fact they are actually from a region of china that don't look asian and specifically go to the big cities to trick you and pick pocket you. there are also armed pickpocketers which would hold a knife up to you if you were to ask them to return your wallet or bag =O
` in China, you are not meant to throw your used toilet paper in the toilet. you throw it in a bin that is provided which doesn't even have a lid on it. thats right! even if you have your periods or chuck a shit, you are still meant to throw the toilet paper in the bin. poor andrea got scarred by a toilet paper which had a mix of period anddddd shit!!! we learnt this after one of the toilets got clogged and a cleaner came up to unclog it. she then told us we were meant to throw the paper in the bin o.O [no we didn't listen. we just continued flushing it in the toilet. i doubt you'd want to have your hotel room smelling like piss and shit because you had to throw the paper in the lid-less bin. so yeah, if you ever go to China and you realise that the toilets look so pretty and clean yet still reeks badly of shit and piss, that is why =]

anyway, before i start to go out and catch up with friends, i'm gonna unpack all my luggage and clean up my rooms in the period of tonight and tomorow.

today ness came over so we could hang out before i headed over to china ^-^... we went to buy some ingredients and made roasted chicken RAVIOLI [i stand corrected.. didn't make fettucini with julie... made chicken mushroom ravioli]... =] i liked the roast chicken one more... we also made beer battered chips with melted cheese and crispy diced bacon... **drools** so fattening

we then watched some movies together... love the proposal and wild child =D and then lazed about ^-^.. it was so freaking hot today so it was nice to just laze about at home... ness also helped me with packing for china.. i'm almost done... just still need to pack

` undies
and i still gotta exchange my money =] then i'm all set!!!

=D i'm so happy i got to catch up with ness before leaving especially since sh'ell be gone by the time i get back =(

wow... only 5 days left!!! =O... i can't believe how quick time is going before i go china.. i hope while i'm there time travels slow so i can enjoy the very cold weather and bask in a country which is not australia... frankly i'm so bored of australia =]

anyway today/yesterday i woke at 8 to go to the doctors to get a receipt for my swine flu vaccine... in the process the doctor told us some stories that happened to his friends/family when they went to china... one of his friends ate lou mei gei [or however you spell it.. canto people should know what it is]... after eating it he got poisoned and his tummy swelled huge as though he was 9 months preggers =O... so yeah he warned us to watch what we eat because apparently its very dodge there and he warned us not to eat at any of the food stalls on the road sides =(... i wanted to eat something from those because they always eat there in my dramas... oh well i guess better safe than sorry... i mean i don't wanna look pregnant only to not have a baby inside me =.=

after the doctors we went to centrelink to inform them about the trip and then we headed to livo westfield to look for stuff to wear while in china.... i just bought super long socks and 2x120 denier stockings... oh and 2 bras to seduce you girlies out there [kidding... it's because they were on sale] ROFL

later on at night julie called and so me and brenden went to the park to play with her friends... it was a good work out even though now i got a bunch of mozzi bites mainly on my face =S... i was sweating and it wasn't even hot =.=... it was heaps of fun ^-^... even though i don't usually do any physical sporty activities i really enjoyed it =]... we played until it was too dark to see anything properly and then headed to woolies... i bought fettuchini to make as a midnight snack because i hadn't tried it before =]... it turned out pretty yummy i suppose ^-^... i didn't overcook it or make it overly soggy =D... i did take a picture but it'll take too long to load... MMMM yummyyyyy creammyyyyy **DROOL**

last two days i spent with family... on new years day we did the traditional visiting family's houses to bring in the good luck for the new year and the parents would hand the kids money to bring good fortune to the year.. and then would come another tradition which would be playing mah jong... yehp during the christmas and new years period the parents would always play mah jong.. except maybe last year and the year before.. memory's kinda fuzzy so not sure but it does seem like ages since they last played mah jong on these kind of events... so during these mah jong nights i've been watching horror films with my cousins followed by comedies =]... so yehp

on the 2nd we went to the temple to pray before heading to livo markets because my mum has never been and wanted to go check it out.. i didn't even know that they opened a market there.. i must say it doesn't come close to how good the designer outlet was... so sad that westfields made them close =(... we were then going to go to westfields since the markets failed to provide us with gear for going to china but then my mum got lazy and decided to just go on monday instead... we then head over to melindas for another mah jong night

today [yesterday] i started packing for china... my luggage is already 14 kilos and not anywhere near finished... i think i need to empty out some things =.=... right now i have
` 4 sets of jumpers
` 3 coats
` 4 cardigans
` 3 long sleeve thin inner wear
` 2 jeans
` 3 scarves

... i want to buy a lot in china so i need a lot of leeway in my luggage weight =.=... i mean the clothes i've packed so far can't last 2 weeks... i'm really hoping that i can go and shop for clothes each day... think i'll remove one coat.. 1 jumper and 2 cardigans.. and stuff as much stuff i can in my carry on =.=

i also just got back from picking up andrea.. tonight i had to go to bankstown to pick her up... but i drove to julies house to bring her with me since i don't know the way to bankstown.. and mannn it was a painful drive because i had just finish drinking a whole pot of tea and when i drink tea i pee a lot in the period of an hour.. so even though i had just emptied my bladder at julies house before leaving i was busting on the way to bankstown...

we also almost got into a car crash because the bankstown roads are so retarded... they are so curvey and straight is not straight... i was going to go straight at the red light... but apparently straight is turning left =.=... and what i was about to do was "turn right" at a "no right turn" area so i almost crashed right into a car going against me.. [if that made any sense]... but yeah i stopped in time thankfully =.= i think the person i almost crashed got a scare too... DAMN YOU BANKSTOWN ROADS.. =.= well i suppose it was my fault for not seeing the lane lines properly... but it was quite dark and the direction we needed to go was straight.. or in their minds "right"... oh well

andrea then drove because it was already 1 and you know the red P's and their 11 pm rule... she then drove to the closest petrol station and IT WAS THE SCARIEST TOILETS I EVER SEENNNNN ROFLMAO... soooooo what i did was make andrea come in with me and face the wall while i did my business =]

ooo and now i have at least $1400 to spend in china because i'm giving myself $163 to spend for the remaining 6 days i have before flying... otherwise i'd have $1563... the $163 will probably be going towards stockings... gloves... leggings... eating.. and tammy's if she doesn't post pone =]

HAPPY NEW YEARS EVERYONE =D!!!

i wish you all a safe and smooth start to a fresh 2010!!! and hopefully your 2009 ended on a good note because i know mine did ^-^!!!

i had a last dinner of the year with my wife at a japanese restaurant with some realllyy fresh and delish food [i'll post pictures of the drool worthy dishes we ate after i get beack from china =D]... ^-^ i had lots of fun just catching up with her because i hadn't seen her in over a month =(... so it was perfect spending the last day of 2009 and the first of 2010 with her =D

we then walked to harbourside and waited an hour for the 9pm fireworks =]... i really enjoyed watching it with my wife because it made the fireworks all the more prettier ^-^.. there was so many colourful and swivelly fireworks and it suited the music.. GOOD SHOW!!! GOOD SHOW!!!

we then head to diana's in which tammy ken and elton came to pick us up... it was hilarious because me and jess fung were waiting half an hour on the iron chef side while tammy and stuff were waiting on the other side... and we were all stinge to call ROFLMAO =.=... eventually tammy msged us to go to the other side LOL

got to diana's and caught up with dear friends... and we got to catch the new year together ^-^

first time

last night i drove alone for the first time in my life... andrea called me to go pick her up from cabra station... i was paranoid as hell when i went to start the car and all because it was 12 midnight on the dot when i stepped outside.. everyone in my family was already sleeping.. and the only things alight were the street lamps and my dear friend the moon... when i went into the car i quickly turned on the headlights so it would be brighter and tried not to look at any trees because they creep me out LOL...i reversed quickly out the carport jumped out to close the gate.. and quickly jumped back into the car and locked the doors... i then drove quickly till i reached a less secluded area which was hard to find since there isn't much cars on the road at that time..

as i was driving to cabra i thought i got lost because the route seemed to take extra long and i was still not reaching my destination... so i just kept going straight going WTH.... but eventually i saw the cabramatta police station and knew i was going the right way =.= phew... i guess the route seemed extra long because this time i was alone and there wasn't someone talking to me to distract me on how long the route was... i got there early and thank god theres pretty much no cars at that time of the night so parking was easy =]

when i got home i watch a drama called I Am Sam which had been in my external harddrive for ages now and i had forgotten about it... so i finally got around to watching it... thats all i did today as well... still haven't finish watching it yet..

tonight my aunt called and asked me to help work at her store tomorow =.=.... i couldn't say no because i feel bad saying no to family and friends... so i gotta get up at 3 in the morning tomorow because we starting at 5.. but then i'm gonna come home at 3 in the arvo so i can go dinner with my wifey and then watch the 9pm fireworks along with some other girls before heading to diana's =]

ah well i guess i'll get around $110ish which can go towards china =]

hmmm i'll go sleep after one more ep of I Am Sam

alrightees i spent yesterday morning and afternoon with my mum, aunts and cousins making some "fingernail biscuits" for new years ^-^ [don't actually know what they're really called but thats what the translation sounds like from my language]... ness then came over to pick me up for the 7.30 session of avatar =D.. it was such a pretty and action filled movie... i want to watch it again!!!
` sorry ness i couldn't drive us since my dad didn't let me park in westfields... i had a great 3 hours with you ^-^

i then drove to jenny's for a sleep over where we ate.. chatted... and watched movies ^-^.. we watched the ugly truth... and then the hannah montana movie which i fell asleep halfway... the next day we came back to my house thinking there was some fried ice cream left in my fridge only there wasn't =.=... the last box was taken to melinda's house for one of the mah jong nights

i also brewed the rose tea i got on boxing day.. it looks very pretty =D [pictures later]... it's got a very subtle flowery taste to it and helps make me feel calm and care-free... the flower petals have turned from pink to a very light peachy colour which coulddd be just because of the colour of the tea making white petals look peachy =S.. i shall find out after i finish drinking it all

i think i'll start packing for china later today if i can be bothered.. got nothing else to do at home =.= since i'm capped...
` thanks to all that have spent the last few days with me so i didn't have to be bored at home with a capped net =]

OH =D and i got my pay today... manage to make $506 in those 3 days of work which can go to my china trip ^-^... then tomorow i get $244 from centrelink =D WOOHOOOO

ness came over early in the morning so we could go many places ^-^... our first stop was DFO =].. i haven't been there in ages.. the amount of cars lining up to get a parking spot was crazy... but we were so lucky we got one right away =O... i never knew before but theres a hole in the fence in DFO =S [will post picture later]... i ended up buying a top/dress o.O for 20 and a pair of denim shorts for 30

we then head to rhodes to go ikea =D... yehp ness wants to refurnish her bedroom too... when we got there we were lucky again and managed to get a parking spot right away once more ^-^... we were starving so we went to eat at the ikea restaurant first ^-^... it was so worth it... we had stuffed salmon... mashed potatoes and i also had a chocolate mousse... **drools**... we then did the ikea walk and when we got to the exit... i was going to buy light bulbs for the new night light i bought on my first visit and some plain candles for my new tea-pot stand... BUTTTTTT THE LINE WAS RIDICULOUSLY LONG!!! so i stuffed it and we left... we looked around at some of the shops and then i got myself a wendy's cookies and cream thickshake before leaving... i was craving =]

then we headed to parra westfields to shop some more... and once again we got lucky with car park... =D luck must be on our side for today... i got myself a 5 bux scarf... i think that will be the last scarf i buy... i've got 3 now ^-^... now what i really need is some gloves =]... we also ended up bumping into jacquie which was random

after that ness got hansol a hot water fragrance gift pack =]... we then drove to his house and she left it on his doorstep to surprise him when he got home ^-^... how sweet... he's so lucky to have her... i'd love to come home to a random unexpected gift

then we drove to KFC!!! yummyyyy~ and headed back to my house to eat and relax... after she left i had a quick shower and went over to melinda's since the rest of my family were over there for mah jong [for adults] and movies [for kids]... and i obviously did not want to be home alone at night =.=... i was paranoid just showering alone at night... we watched a good movie called amusement and the start of the orphan but then the parents finished with their mah jong round and we had to come home lol... i shall now go on msn for a little since i haven't done so in a while

lol so the christmas tree contained a nelson holding a box of ferrero rocher chocolates LOL =]

26th;
today was boxing day sales... i got a msg from jenny at 5.30 and then she came to pick me up to go to the boxing day sales around 6 something =D... we ended up getting to town hall around 8 something and met up with tammy and mel... it was a good thing we got there early because the lines were crazy as we were leaving myer... i hate how on boxing day sales... walking turns to shuffling along like penguins... i ended up lining up for 30 minutes or so for another $10 scarf =.=.... i then saw an alien and so i turned the other way andd went down the escalator to the wonderful food section... ALSO i visited your cousins candy shop jessica =D... and bought a hershey... though i didn't think he recognised me so i didn't talk to him =.=... we then walked into T2 to get some free tea that they always have pre-made at the counter and jenny smelt a really pretty smelling tea so she edged me to ask them for a sample... and i did... AND THEY GAVE A BAG TO TRY OUT =O... YAYYYYYY ^-^... HONESTLY... it has such a nice sweet smell to it... it's called green rose ^-^... [will post photos after china]... then i went to Rose Tea House which is the place that i saw my beloved clear glass tea pot AND IT WAS ON SALE EVEN MORE TODAY... the smaller one was from 69 to 32... and the bigger one was from 89 to 44!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and the stand that keeps your tea warm was from 29 to 12!!!!!!!!!!!!! so i bought the bigger one and the stand =]... also its because the owners said they will be closing down on the 3rd of january =(... i have to go and visit their store before they close!!! they also gave me a bag of free tea to sample =D... it's called rose tea... little buds of dried rose buds ^-^... can't wait to try it out too!!!

we then headed to market city where leena awaited and to our disappointment.. the $2.50 sushi train was closed =(... at market city i managed to buy 2 jumpers for china =]... still haven't got myself a pair of gloves and a waterproof jacket and shoes yet though =.=

when i got home i found out we were going melinda's house again so the parents could play mah jong... TONIGHT I DROVE ON THE M5 FOR THE FIRST TIME =O... needed to go to pick up one of andrea's "friends" ;)... we then got to melinda's and watched part of silent hill and IT... but we found them both boring so we stopped watching... we then went to a petrol station and bought magnum sandwich =P mmmmmmm yummyyyyyy **licks lips**... nothing beats ice cream at 1 in the morning

melinda is sleeping over... i think i'll try sleep a bit earlier though since i have a big day tomorow catching up with ness ^-^ SO EXCITED.... can't have myself fall asleep in her presence again

weeeeeeeeee my 3 days of work is finally over... anyway.. this is what i bin up to for the past 3 days

Day 1;
yehp... as i predicted i could not fall asleep at all... i got sleepyish around 3... BUT THENNN i heard this scary ass noise... it sounded like an old lady crying very loudly... NO IT WAS NOT A CAT.. i've heard cats cry plenty times to be able to distinguish.. she sounded devastated... it really creeped me out so i was fully awake again... and before i knew it i heard my mum's alarm clock go off so i knew it was time to wake up and get ready =(... ah well it wasn't too bad working that day because there were newcomers that needed practice and training so i was told to go pack seaweed salad for the 23rd and 24th... though of course i still had to serve customers if there was not enough workers to tend to them... yeah quite tiring since it's been a while since i've stood for 12 hours straight without sleep....

after work i went to livo since it was the shopping nights period before christmas... and then julie brought her new puppy pebbles over =D... he's so cute... [and i'm capped again so i'll upload pics after i come back from china since i get uncapped during my china trip =.=]

Day 2 + 3;
^-^ today jenny returned from her trip.. so tammy daniel and i went to go pick her up =D... while we were waiting for her in a car park... a Hoang Do bus service bus drove into the car park =O LOL now i know what tien was on about all those days he was driving us to uni LOL

jenny showed us a cool massage thing they have at singapore airport where little fishies eat off your dead skin cells... so gotta try it one day =D... they also got cool cups in singapore where you put what you want in it and the temperature of the thing you put in it will stay at that temperature =O... so a cold drink stays cold and a hot drink stays hot... no more need for ice or reheating!!!... too bad it's a rip LOL

anyway i got home and got ready for my 2 days straight of working... and left for work at 1.30ish... yehp.. few hours in to the work and i already got pricks and cuts =.=... that is until they set up the outside stand.. then i got to go work at the oyster and smoked salmon stand... working at that stand has its pros and cons...

pros;
` bludgier because it's not as busy as inside so i got periods where i stand there relaxing
` i don't get cut by the fish fins or lobsters
` i don't get pricked by prawns
` i don't need to walk all the way to the inside cash register because i have one outside already
` i got to watch the sunset and sunrise =D

cons;
` its a cramped workspace so you barely get to move that i was starting to feel claustrophobic
` it's hard to find a replacement so i didn't get to go on breaks and i didn't get to sleep or anything so i had to work/stand for 28 hours straight
` when the sun rises you get burnt and it was boiling on the 24th when the sun was rising
` when you need to go toilet you can't because you need to always have someone at the stand to serve customers and look after the cash

` thank you jenny for those funny messages LOL it made me giggle in my boring workplace yes i just didn't reply because i hate your guts =P LOL kiddingggggg LOVE YOUUUU

after 28 hours of not sitting my ankles area really felt like they were going to break... the calf muscles in that area were even swollen =(... on the way home my mum was also half asleep she microslept and almost crashed a van... her side mirror crashed it and got bent in.. but then that shocked her awake

ness then came over after i got home and showered ^-^ we lay on my bed to catch up... i could barely move anyway LOL... and at 2 points i got so sleepy i fell asleep =.=.. yehp thats what happens when you havent slept for ages and been working... we gonna have a proper catch up on sunday since she doesn't have work =] weeeeeeeeeeeee

YEAHHHHH... anyway i kinda forgot it was christmas today.. until i woke up this morning and saw the christmas msges... sorry i didn't reply to them guys.. i'm out of credit LOL.. but thanks all ^-^ and i wish you all a very merry christmas too ^-^... yeh i was so tired i actually slept through all the msgs =.=

my cousin then came over and brought her baby daughter along =D.. it's been a few years since i've carried a baby i was so worried i would drop her... leah was so light and tiny.. such an adorable baby.. she was looking at everything in our house.. and she has such hugeeee pupils ^-^... she can't walk or talk yet... and it was so cute because she was in a tiny cute little christmas outfit i just wanted to give her the biggest tightest hug but i didn't want to make her cry

now i'm at melinda's house for christmas dinner and for the parents to play mah jong LOL

well well well.... today i woke up to a nice random phone call from vee asking if i wanted to join her tien and nigel for a movie at livo... thank god because otherwise i would have been downloading the rest of my remaining 4 gigs left of downloads away if i'd stayed home... we lazed at my house for an hour or so before heading out so nigel could move his car to avoid parking fees... i got to catch up with vee which was nice since we hadn't really been able to since beach house ^-^...

when we got to livo we roamed the perfume section of myer and bumped into jess fung and aena... my wifey looks hot in her working outfit ;)

vee also helped me pick out a scarf for my china trip which was 10 bux =]

we then went to sushi bay to eat since we still had another 2 hours before the movie started **drools** they make the sushi sooo fast... it was my second time at this restaurant and this time i remembered my keycard ROFLMAO... there was so many yummy looking sushi... i wish it was all you can eat sushiiiiii... but sadly no =(

also tried the new christmas drink at boost... it was jingle something something... can't really remember what it was called but it was very yummy ^-^

we watched the invention of lying =]... WOOHOOO TO $7 STUDENT MONDAYS!!! the lady got us excited telling us we had the whole cinema to ourselves... but then it turned out that there were four other people in there with us... there was pop corn fights and i accidentally knocked over the box of popcorn which still had around a quarter of the box left =.=... the movie was not as good as the trailer made it out to be... but still enjoyable nonetheless because i got to watch it with fun people =]... LOL at tien who burst out laughing loudly at the jesus look scene... man just imagine living in a world where lieing didn't exist...

after that we head off to tien's house and as per usual his parent were entertaining us with jokes =]... tien is a lucky boy to have such parents.

today i managed to almost finish tidying both my rooms... i finished with my computer room... and did most of my bedroom... i've resorted the clothes in my warddrobe and on my bed... just still need to sort out my sleeping clothes and the clothes in the basket at the end of my bed which i plan to do tomorow =]...

in the midst of tidying up my room... my dad comes in and shows me what he bought for brenden to go china.... in the bundle there was a jumper with a huge 69 printed on the back ROFLMAO.... and so i asked him if he knew what 69 meant.... and he said no... and so he asked me what it meant... but how awkward would it be if i told him so i just told him not to worry LOL since he says its for brenden to wear to sleep over there anyway

man i must say i really hate saving up money as it means restricting myself from going out =.=... not to mention i'm running out of things to entertain myself with at home... i'm almost capped already and it's only been 7 days.... this is predominantly because i'm not going out so that i'm spending my time downloading... yuck to saving money!!!

well on tuesday wednesday and thursday my aunt has asked me to help work at her store for the busy christmas period... i'm not really looking forward to it as it means being pushed and shoved.. being pricked and cut... and not to mention the neverending flow of customers... =.= hmmmm most likely working wednesday to thursday straight again which means no sleep and means my brain operating extra slow... on the upside.. i'll get money for china trip

well at least wednesday morning i get to go pick up jenny before going to work so that should be exciting =]

anyway... andrea needed to go to woolies tonight so i drove her there... this gave me a chance to practice some more of my parking... i can now park with a car on one side and a space on the other side of me on my own =].... i'm getting there... next i'll try a spot with 2 cars on either side of me ^-^

i think i'll tidy both my rooms tomorow for sure =] so i can watch this new drama i found online freely without guilt as i have been putting off tidying for ages now =.=

the new drama is You're Beautiful.... really cute and nice storyline =D

anyway today melinda's mum called in the afternoon and told us to go over to eat and play mah jong... so we did.... with me being the chauffuer.... nope i had no idea about the directions... so i followed my instincts which were wrong... and brenden ended up pointing the way for me... how embarrassing =.=... whilst driving i sped for the first time... only because the limit marked was ridiculous... it went from 70km/hr to 40km/hr... alll because they were doing roadwork... but they weren't while i was driving so i travelled at 60... the car infront of me was obviously not doing 40 either since he was out of sight in a few seconds so he must have been doing 80 or something... and the car behind me was tailgating me =.=... but i stayed at 60 because there were some very narrow windy sections... so yes... damn i sped... but 40 is way too slow... it was ridiculoussssssssss... this is on the way to cowpasture [i think] if you're wondering what road work section i'm talking about...

anyway when we got there there was so much food **drools**... my favourite out of the dishes was pekking duck =D with the wrap and very yummy sauce... i stuffed myself with 3 plates and then stood at the table of food and picked at some more of the food that was left...

we then lay in nelson's room and watched chonny's videos on youtube to laugh off some calories... melinda then realised that this year it doesn't even feel like christmas is approaching... and they still hadn't put up the christmas tree... so we went to set it up ^-^

decorating is always fun =D... now the only thing missing is the presents... LOL good observation by pindoodle =P

funny how years ago we'd have christmas parties and the amount of presents under the tree would be plentiful... and the past few years the amount of presents would probably be around a quarter of what it use to be... but pindoodle is determined to try and make the tree be swimming in a sea of presents once more ^-^

anyway my tummy is filled to the rim with delish food and i've had my fun decorating... now i'll treat myself to another drama episode =D

anyway... i went to the sauna last night which i haven't done since exams and the weather became hot... but yesterday was pretty cool so it was pretty good for sauna =]... they now have a new sign inside the sauna saying something along these lines... [obviously can not take picture in the sauna unless i wanna kill my phone ROFL]

anyway as we were about to get into the car and go home i got an unexpected random phone call from ken saying phi [an old tutor friend] said he wanted to come over and visit... have not talked to them in ages so i figured sure why not...

when i got home my dad told me to drink the medicine for going china [the orally taken one... not the vaccine].... and so i did

i had to mix that sachet and bottle into 150ml of water... i must say....

IT STUNK AND TASTED LIKE SHIT.... ROFL.... but it was hilarious to drink... somehow the idea of having to drink something so gross ammused me =S i couldn't stop laughing... took me 30mins to finish drinking it all before skulling a cup of water to wash out the taste... it left a gross after-taste and made my teeth feel fuzzy which might have been the after-effects of the sodium hydrogen bicarbonate that was in the sachet... =.=

anyway i then headed into the shower and soon after ken and phi arrived... we just bummed in the living room watching movies... i'm surprised at the things phi remembers from tutoring which was more than a year ago =S... i don't even remember... =.= but then again i doooo have a shit memory... anyway.. nice to see he hasn't changed... still a little weirdo boy =P

NYUMMY FRUIT SALAD!!!

my brother's friends came over today and woke me up with the doorbell =.=... and then julie also came over for a hair cute... soon after i decided i wanted to make fruit salad so we went out of our airconed house to go buy the fruits and ice cream =D.... it was sooo hot it was a sauna outside... LOL poor julie had to burn her hands on the steering wheel and handbrake =P...

making the fruit salad was a very dangerous process.... julie almost dropped the huge butcher-knife on our toes... but she caught it just in time as it was slipping **phew**... so after what seemed like a few hours we finally finished chopping all the fruits and chucked them into the new fruit salad bowl i bought from ikea =]

the fruit salad consisted of watermelon =D my favourite... mango... grapes... honeydew... apple... banana... and i did buy strawberries but i forgot to put it in =.=

and fruit salad is best with ice cream ^-^

it's all i had for dinner because it was too hot to eat anything else... [well i had 2 bowls and an extra bowl of ice cream]
yehp i also put the bowls i bought from ikea to good use

julie then forgot the collar she bought for panda in my bag so i drove up to her house and then we layed in her room to play with panda for a bit... =]

Bball Girls VS Boys

aside from lazing at home today and watching dramas... i went to julie's basketball match =]... haven't done that in a while but there were still familiar faces that i remembered.... and ow i had just burnt my pinky a few seconds ago and typing is a pain =.=....

anyway after not seeing julies team play for a while and watching them again today... i noticed that they have improved a lot more =] so congrats to them... and lol julie's jersey name is "WTFBBQ?" AHAHAHAHA how random ^-^.... anyway... while sitting on the side watching her game i was able to realise how different it is when guys are playing and when girls are playing.... to my left there was a guy's match going on... and to my right was julie's match and even more on my right were even more girl's matches.... on my left there was a whole bunch of thumping which felt like a stampede as the herd of boys ran to this side of the court....while the girls matches i couldn't feel any floor vibrations as they ran to this side of the court.... as the guys rann and stopped or turned... their shoes give off a squeek to emphasize the speed they were going at... while the girls matches only consisted of patters... the guys had many falls to the ground... and there were times when they were running too fast they couldn't stop in time and would run out of the court... one guy almost crashed into me while he was trying to stop O.O.... intense.... it was interesting watching julie and her team play basketball again =]....

anywho... after the game i drove julie and aaron to woolies because i needed to buy stuff.. it was aarons first time experiencing my driving.... julie took me around once while on my L's so she was already well aware of my driving skills =].... after that i drove to daniels to give him back the many maths textbooks he let me borrow to help julie with her maths

yehp i'm getting the hang of driving a car without someone there to instruct me... still haven't driven on my own yet though because i'm scared of the dark so i don't want to drive alone in the dark =.=

Saturday night i put my piano reading method to use and succeeeded in learning Fur Elise with it ^-^... i'm so happy... though i obviously can't play up to the proper speed yet =.=... i can play smooth but slower than normal... and i still can't read the sheet as fast as other people that have had piano lessons since young age... but i'll keep at it and hopefully some day i can... i always wondered if piano players could look at the sheet and play it smoothly right out.. or are they like me and play extremely slow at first and thenn practice that one song for a while before it's smooth =S... yeah yesterday morning i practiced Fur Elise some more before derick arrived and it's getting faster and smoother ^-^ yayyyyyy

anyway yesterday was my first time driving without an adult... i went to go pick up pizza at edensor with andrea... lucky there was 3 empty consecutive parking spots.. because i don't know how to park yet and if there were 2 cars beside me i have a feeling i would have scratched the cars LOL.... after dinner i went to pick up daniel to go tiens for the horror films marathon... we watched Saw VI and The Uninvited followed by My Sister's Keeper... yehp all the movies were rather good ^-^... i had a fun night especially with the boys and their randomness =D

today in the morning i helped my mum make cake and we shared a nice conversation... looks like car rides isn't the only place where we can strike up a nice conversation... i learnt quite a bit about our family history and relatives today =] it was nice... before long it was time to go pick up andrea and head off to get our vaccinations for going to china =].... so yayyy i got to practice driving again. and this time i parked in a parking spot inbetween 2 cars... but with my mum's help.. i still can't do it on my own =.=..... the needle cost 80+ BUX!!!! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT =.=... i've never paid so much for a needle before... my mum was shocked... we were meant to buy another medicine that we orally take as well... but that medicine summed with the vaccine for 3 people added up to almost 400 bux and she did not have enough money so we just got the vaccine for now... =.= damn you travel bugs!!! i think the cost of the vaccine hurt way more than the needle... couldn't even feel the needle even though it was quite big.. i couldn't stop staring at it LOL!

anyway after i got my vaccine i drove to tien's to go IKEA along with daniel and darren =D... it was my first time setting foot to ikea so it was rather exciting ^-^.... when i got there i was shocked at how smalll it was!!! LOL kidding... ITS FREAKING HUGEEEEEEEEEE!!!! everything in there was so cool... and the shopping strategy in ikea was so different to any other shop i've been to... i mean it's the only store i've been to where there's little [yet big] rooms all decorated nicely as if you were in someone's house... then each seperate item you like would be noted down on a pamphlet and pencil which is provided for you in which you then go downstairs to collect the items you want... i really like the layout of ikea.. it really helps people visualise how they could use their items to spice up their rooms =D... also tried their 1 dollar hotdog which is completely worth it... it was yummy for someone who is starving [obviously there's yummier food but it's completely worth the 1 dollar].. all in all i ended up spending 58 bux at ikea =].... i'll post pictures up tomorow while i update the rest of my blog with pictures

The One With Her P's Licence!

THAT'S RIGHT =D!!! I PASSED!!!!!!!!!!! WOOHOOOOOOOOOOO ^-^

i had a nice lady testing me... and as usual... when i'm nervous i talk a lot more than usual... so i had a very nice conversation with her while being tested... i told her about what i've been up to these holidays and what i plan to do in the future.. and about uni... and she told me about how she was a divorced single mum of one son... she told me she's 29 and her son is currently 5 who loves his tv.. and she told me about how she's had a few relationships with some men after the divorce that she's unsure of... and how her son told her "it's okay mummy... you don't need boyfriends =]... you have me"... i thought that was adorable... yehp i wish i have a son like that in the future ^-^

she also told me that she's never experienced a car crash while testing someone... though her sister who works in the liverpool branch rta has =]... all in all it was a relaxing test... talking to my examiner made it feel like a normal drive and all the head checks just came to me ^-^

they're also changing the rules...; as of monday you can no longer smile in your driver's licence =O... so i smiled a big smile for my drivers licence since i had the chance that others will miss... i ended up looking like a chubby kid with a big nose and swollen looking eyes... but i love it anyway because those getting their P's starting monday will look sad/depressed/evil/mean/stoned orrrr if they're photogenic they'll look normal ROFL...

on the way back home my instructor drove... i notice while i'm driving i don't notice anything interesting around me but the road... so once again a passenger i noticed there was a car with "i s2 cock" written in the dust of the rear infront of us... and there was also a group of bikies that rode pass.. made me think... damn aren't they hot under all that clothing + beard + helmet + bandana + the sun... i was hot as when i was driving without the aircon on... the instructor then went to pick up some girl that was learning how to drive... as i experienced her driving it made me wonder if i use to drive like that o.o................ but oh well i know i can drive properly now and thats all that matters ^-^

i am now starving for some food but i can't find anything that tickles my fancy in the kitchen =(

anyway.... i think i'll go practice some more piano or tidy up my rooms after i rummage for a nibble.

Keyboard VS Piano?... PIANO!!!

today i woke up with nothing to do......................................................

and so after eating breakfast i watched my sister's keeper again. only this time on the big tv and not my computer. and this time all in one go without any pausing in the middle... and this time i shed another tear... yehp yehp i'm surprised myself... i mean yes i shed a tear the first time watching it in the movies.. but didn't expect myself to shed a tear the third time around...

either it's because;
a) i'm losing my touch
b) it's a really good and sad movie
c) both a and b

well in my opinion; YES... it's a terrific movie... exploring death... family issues... support... decisions... sacrifice........ basically explores life.... and for the record... i'm still not sick of watching it =D

i then got started on trying to learn how to read piano notes... so far i'm a full time newbie and still take ages to figure out which note corresponds to which key... haven't figured out a way to help me remember it yet... it's extremely confusing because the treble clef and bass clef notes represent different letters... i wish they kept it the same so that i just have to remember "FACE" and "Every Good Boy Deserves Fruit"... but noooo thats only for the treble clef... the base cleff consists of "All Cows Eat Grass" and "Great Big Ducks Fly Away" =.= yeah i don't think i'm gonna be able to remember all this and be able to know straight away what the note represents without reciting these phrases... and even if i could read the piano notes... i'm still having trouble remembering straight away which key on the keyboard is which letter... like i can remember that c is before 2 black keys.... but then i have to run the alphabet through my head for the rest... o.O is it just me or did i make no sense =.=.... anyway... i'm gonna try a different approach the next time i attempt to learn because i don't think the method they teach online really suits me... =.= never really liked letters [it reminds me of english] so i'm gonna try a mathematical approach which i've run through my head but is hard to explain in words so i'll refrain from doing so... i shall update on the success/failure of this new method once i've tested it out =]... i like how when i'm playing on the keyboard time just flies... but i hate how the keyboard doesn't have the same effects a piano gives off... as i was attempting to play Jay Chou - An Jing today the left hand needed to be quieter but the keyboard fails to give that effect =(... not to mention the keyboard doesn't hold as many keys as a piano and makes it a fail when i try to play J.S.Bach - Air on the G String... i really want a piano... =.=

also had an hours lesson of driving today... and will be having a 2 hours lesson at ingleburn tomorow morning before the test.. my test is at 10.45 so that means i gotta be up by 8 for an 8.30 lesson =.=.... i must say i'm getting kinda nervous... i don't wanna fail as it's a waste of time and money and i'd have to wait extra long before i can re-sit the test =(... ah well the big drumroll awaits tomorow and hopefully the verdict is a PASS!!!

today melinda came over to get ready for her formal =]... the little girl is growing up indeed... i did take photos of her which i'll upload when i'm uncapped... she was looking hot and getting ready to make the boys drool ;)!!! i find it amazing what a dress... a bit of make up.. and some accessories can do =]... she looked amazing... i should have taken a before transformation shot too.. but i forgot =.=

other than that my day consisted of sleeping... practicing more driving.. and eating

i also just finish watching my sister's keeper for the second time of my life.. still not sick of the movie just yet... don't think i'd get sick of it no matter how many times i watch it

DESSERT TIME~!

jess fung came over in the morning and we made desserts =D... the desserts consisted of creme brule... triple choc temptation cake... and white chocolate mousse... our creme brule tasted like ice cream... the mousse is still either setting or not going to harden at all... and the triple choc temptation cake was a SUCCESS!!! =D yeah the cake was really really delicious... and the "ice cream" was yummy too.. it just tasted like vanilla ice cream... attempted to make toffee twice to put on the "ice cream" but failed.. the first one didn't harden.. and the second tasted like burnt caramel... jess fung liked the burnt caramel... elton could tell it was burnt straight away though =.= just from tasting it..

LADAKH!!!!!

last night was soooo hot i could not fall asleep.. and today i got up bright an early at 5 to head off to the ladakh sale =]... it was the first time for me and dilini... quite interesting really... it got really stuffy and i was amazed at how much stuff ended up on the floors... there was a HUGE mountain in one corner which belonged to three girls... their legs were basically buried in the clothes they grabbed... i followed jenny's advice and just grabbed stuff without bothering to look at it and ended up with 6 items that i liked =D... ALL 15 BUX EACH!!! uhuh... the pretty much no sleep was completely worth it =]... oh and theres like 2 items i bought which i'm not sure if they are a top or dress LOL =S

after that i trained it back to cabramatta for a two hour driving lesson in ingleburn to prepare for my test on saturday... i think i still need more practice in the ingleburn area.... but my instructor says i'll just have a one hour lesson on friday at 6 in our area =.=... half feel like i'm gonna fail... hope not... i always forget some head checks and i'm not confident with reverse parking yet and i forget to signal left as i exit a big roundabout... and forget to stop completely at stop signs before doing head checks.. and i forget to look both ways at pedestrian crossings and traffic lights =.= because i just use my peripheral vision... ah well... we'll just have to wait until saturday for the verdict.

when i got home i ate and flopped dead on my bed for 2 hours... then ate again.. showered and went to melinda's to pick up a movie and her formal wear so she can just come straight after school on thursday... yehp its that time of the year and the year 10's are having their formal on thursday =D

then i toddled to tiens to grab beach house photos that i accidentally deleted =.=... yeah kinda rotated the pictures and when i was viewing them on my camera there were "file errors" that i deleted... then i realised it was "file error" because it was a rotated picture ROFLMAO

oh and i'm thinking of getting braces... my bottom row of teeth are pissing the shites outta me... so i shall see what happens... =.= should have got it during highschool... don't think i really know anyone in uni with braces =S

i told my mum about my growing wisdom tooth and figured i should go get it checked out since she doesn't have work tomorow... but she says that i don't need to if its growing out on its own so i guess i'll just leave it and not get it checked out =S.

i think i'll get my mum to take me driving tomorow so that i can get some practice... especially with reverse parking and stuff since my P's test is going to be in 6 days and counting. hope i pass so i can drive around when i need to go somewhere... so much more convenient than asking andrea or catching public transport =]

anyway... me and jess fung are gonna cook on wednesday... i'm gonna try and make a souffle and mousse =D how exciting

also got a charcoal deep cleansing mask which is black and you just apply then peel off... looks scary when you put it on but works well. =]

also manage to get the D wam i was aiming for ^-^.. the sleepless nights cramming paid off

Beach house OVER!

here be some updates since i left for beach house up till now;

beach house day 1
we set off to beach house around 10 something. check in wasn't until around 3 so we went to stanwell beach first to play =D...the weather behaved and gave us the perfect start to a beach house holiday... when we finally got to the house it was rather exciting we were mucking around baggsing rooms in which the boys tried to fight us girls for the master bedroom.. they then showed off their skill in opening the balcony which i failed to open... SO I LOCKED THEM OUT ROFLMAO!!! =]... the first day consisted of familiarising ourselves with the place... unpacking... and heading to the beach down the road as the sun was setting.
the night was filled with dancing... jumping... drinking... eating.. drama

woke up around 5... hieu went to watch the sunrise and me vee and vanessa followed shortly... we missed the sunrise but it was still beautiful nonetheless with the sun rays shining through the clouds... it rained in the morning/arvo so most of us stayed in... hieu and george also found an X-man spider which was accomodating with us...
at night i helped prepare and cook chicken for dinner..

it rained again in the morn so we watched the exorcist until the weather cleared. when the sun finally revealled itself we head down to the beach... it was so windy that when the sand blew it felt like needle pricks... i managed to experiment with my camera and put the camera tips jessica sent me to use and got some pretty pictures anyway ^-^... the house didn't have an aircon... however it did have a fireplace... it was so cold so the fireplace came in handy ^-^...
at night derick and andrew got a makeover.. we had pizza and some more funny drama...

today i swam in the beach... it was cold but very fun ^-^... though i wish i brought my camera down to the beach to capture some funny moments =.= except i couldn't be bothered because i was swimming... it was the last day of our stay today... the boys reinacted parts of new moon with the wolf pack.. or as they like to call themselves the "cobra pack" with tien being bella... we had bbq and watched paranormal activities at night...

the last day of our beach house holiday and so that meant checking out at 11... we then went to stanwell beach again before heading of to el jannah for some yummy charcoal chicken... man that was hella filling. got home around 8... then i showered and went to jenny's house to help with some cooking and catch up time =]

today i just packed stuff for beach house and went with julie to pick up aaron from the airport... then i had to go woolies to buy a couple of stuff for beach house [sunscreen etc etc]... i also realised i can't seem to find the other camera memory sticks anywhere.. so hopefully 1 gig is enough =]

okay =] today [yesterday] i had to catch the bus to cabra again because my dad wasn't home to drive me to the station... the bus drivers seem to be a lot nicer these days so it's not too bad...

went to parra with jess fung today =D... we ate at max brenners... well more like drank... i love their hug mugs too bad they were like 22 bux =.=... i had toffee white hot chocolate yummmmyyy **drools**... so we sat there for a while chatting away before going shopping...

today [yesterday] i had a driving lesson which i haven't had since beginning of the year... and turns out my instructor had bought a new car which is incredibly sensitive =.=... you press accelerate and it goes really quick... you press break and it stops really fast.. and the wheel is very light... =.= i don't like it... don't like it at alllllll... ah well... i got to practice some three point turns and reverse parking so all good....

afterwards i went to jenny's and we lazed about... planned some food... watched beauty and the geek and then watched paranormal activities.... quite scary and i don't want to talk about it or i'll get extra paranoid...

anyway... i will be going to max brenner with jess fung tomorow so all that chocolate will help me forget the paranoia ^-^

coollll... an episode of my drama finish downloading so i can watch it and forget any scary stuff =D... cyaaa

So it's China~

alright... so my dad and 2 mums came back from the family friend/travel agents house and they gave us the verdict. they decided to take the lady's advice about hong kong not having as much tourist attractions and have decided to just go to china alone [because taiwan is too expensive] =(... awww the lady did not manage to convince them to go to both china andddddd taiwan.... but its okay =D i've been wanting to go china as well as taiwan and hong kong so at least i can cross going china off my list...

i just went to look at our travel guide and its all in chinese and i unfortunately can not read all the words =.=.... the taiwan travel guide she gave was in english...

Taiwan;
if we were going taiwan then we would have gone to the Sun Moon Lake and stayed overnight!!! which i wanted to see because they mention it quite a lot in the dramas i watched... and what with the moon being my favourite aspect of the universe it would have been a nice site to see... the west side apparently looks like the crescent moon and the east side looks like the round sun... don't know how that works but i would have loved to see what they meant... here we were also going to see the Wenwu Temple dedicated to Confucius and Kuan Ti master of sword, Peacock Garden, Holy Monk Shrine and Tse-En Pagoda.
we were then going to go to see the Love River, Kenting National Park, go to spas and hot springs, East Coast National Scenic tour which is a tour of taiwan's last unspoiled land, Taroko National Park with the Taroko Gorge and a whole bunch of other neat stuff...

but since we're not going taiwan... this is what i could pick up from the chinese travel guide for going China;
oh i just found an english section in a seperate book which i'm hoping is the same as the pieces of paper in chinese...
this is what our tour covers:
we'll be going to bei jing;
- The Forbidden City
- Tiananmen Square
- Temple of Heaven
- The Great Wall of Badaling
- Silk Market
- see a 'Legends of Kung Fu' performance
- Lama Temple [most renowned Tibetan Buddhist Temple]

then fly to Guilin;
- Cruise along Li River
the cruise will lead us to Yangshuo;
- wander the many market stalls and shops that are open 24/7

- Old Chinatown
- The Bund [can't wait to see the interesting architecture in Shanghai]
- Jin Mao Tower
- Huangpu River
though this is for the 12 day trip... there's also a 17 day trip which has the above and more... not sure which one we're attending =S hopefully the 17 day trip... we will be leaving on the 10th or 11th =D... gives me an extra week to save money!

sadly we are not going anhui so that doesn't allow me to go see the Piano House =(... also it's winter there and so the travel agent said it wouldn't be appropriate to go to Jiuzhaigou Valley since it will be iced or whatever =(...

oh well... it should be interesting putting the chinese vocab i learnt from chinese school and learn from my dramas to use... it's also very convenient going with my mum as she is a good bargainer =D... but i'm gonna try my best to bargain at least one thing for myself... once i get a hang of speaking mando... can't wait to shoppp

anyway after that talk about our trip... julie was hungry so we went with her to buy some food in danny's new car... yum yum yum yum yum

today i woke up to a phone call which was for my dad... it was a family friend who i assume is a travel agent that was talking to my dad about our overseas trip =]... and i overheard part of the conversation... the lady was saying that she'd recommend us go china andd taiwan instead of just hong kong because theres more things to do in china and taiwan =D.... i'm not gonna get too excited just yet... my parents and melinda's parents are going to go over to the family friend's house tonight to discuss... ^-^

in my boredom at home i decided to look up some tourist attractions... and OMG IF I GO CHINA I DEFINITELY WANT TO SEE THISSSSS!!!!!! I THINK ITS MY NEW DREAM HOUSE!!! ROFL!!! [click]

it's a piano house situated in anhui, china.

how cool does that look man i'd love to go in there!!! A PIANOOO house OMG!!! how nice would it be if i could take a picture with that. you go in through stairs in the transparent violin... they should make it into a music school or something... too bad its in the middle of nowhere... i want to stand on the rooftop and just lay there for a whole day basking in its prettiness and sleekness!

it's so prettyyyyyyy i can't get over it!.. i wish i was rich enough to have a house like that... [well no one lives in this piano house.. but boy i'd love to live in it!!]

also love to go visit Jiuzhaigou Valley

its got various waterfalls and evidently colourful lakes... the water is so clear that you can see all the way to the bottom =] how nice is it.

i just got back from melbourne at around 11.30pm and talked to my mum and dad and just finish showering ^-^
OOOOO so what did you miss out on?... let me fill you in =D

DAY 1 - 20th November 2009
we arrived at the airport an hour early only to find that our flight had been delayed for an hour due to the weather conditions [rainy and thunder but hot]... so we bummed around at the airport with nothing to do... i just walked up and down the shops area which barely had anything since it wasn't an international flight =(....

we ended up arriving at melbourne around 11.30pm and boy it was cold... we hired a rental car so we could get around =D

and one of our cousins were waiting to chaperone us to our accomodation... he also lent us a gps thank god... by the time we arrived it was already 12.30am... though the room was quite neat and clean... the place was right opposite a cemetary =.= i could see it the moment i looked outside the window... it's okay though... there were no paranormal activities =D

the plus sides were;
` there was foxtel
` we never ran out of hot water for showering
` we got to waste as much aircon as we wanted
` the beds were quite comfy

the down sides were;

DAY 2 - 21st November 2009
when we got up it was freezing and raining =.= i mean come onnnnnnn the previous few days it was apparently really hot so i only packed shorts, t-shirts and one 3 quarter jacket... so i had to deal with goosebumpy legs and arms... i guess i half felt the cold you are feeling jessica =D

anyway we had to get out by 10am because there is a daily clean at 10 in the morning... so we head off to the bday girl's [Robecca's] house and helped out ^-^... helped make spring rolls at their aunts house and my fingers ended up smelling like raw pork for a day even though i showered... their aunts dog had puppies which were just so adorable so we got to play with them too ^-^;

we then head back to our stay and showered and got ready for the party... and yes it was raining so i didn't bother doing my hair LOL.... the gps ended up bringing us to the wrong place...
"your destination is now on your right" i turned my head right and see grassland ROFLMAO =.=.... we ended up calling my cousin to get directions... and when we got there man was my cousin gorgeous that night ^-^... the function was so cool... there was even a banner with her picture and happy birthday to her on it... she looked like a model!!! =O... i guess thats how the melbourne people party =D and i'm glad she liked the present ^-^

anyway... at around 10... my cousin wanted the ball dance which consisted of 20 couples dancing in the shape of a circle with her dancing in the middle... yeah the moment which i was nervous most about because i didn't wanna stack it and stuff up her dance... luckily the partner she set me up with knew how to dance... though he comforted me with a "don't worry.. i don't know how to dance much either" which i later confirmed was not true... so yeah... it wasn't as hard as i thought... he lead and i just followed and i think i was too busy watching the pretty fireworks to notice if i was dancing retarded =.= i shall find out when she gets a copy of the recordings which my partner so kindly said he'd upload it on youtube to embarrass me... which i'm taking as a joke LOL [yes she had professional cameramen at the function]... =D at least i didn't stack it ^-^... i'm so proud of myself... aren't you? LOL

oh and did i mention i won a soccer game? =D

DAY 3 - 22nd November 2009
we woke up extra early to pack up and check out on time... we then head off to Robecca's house and ate some cake that was left over from the party...

then head off to my other cousin's [Kathleen] house in which her mum prepared more food for us... also ended up watching the beginning of paranormal activities but had to go to another one of my aunts house so didn't manage to finish watching it... but it's okay because i'll be watching it with jenny anyway ^-^... oh and i must say my grandma is so adorable and funny and rebelious LOL she refused to wear the "annoying" seatbelt

we then went to my other aunt's house which is where my grandma lives... my grandma ended up cooking even more food but i was so full my stomache was gonna burst so i didn't eat... until my uncle made some of his own style migoreng and shoved it in my face which i must say was quite delish... so i shared it with my grandma and ate it... was too full to finish it on my own... gotta love how family just feeds you and feeds you non-stop...
my aunt then said to me;
aunt; "oh oh we're gonna come with you's to hong kong =D tell your mum and dad okay?"
me; "what?... i didn't know we were going for sure yet =S"
aunt; "yeahhh your dad said he was gonna take grandma with you's to hong kong... so we're gonna go too =]"
me+andrea; ?????????????????????? "HUH? HOW COME I DIDN'T HEAR ANY OF THIS"
my aunt then tried to set me up with my dance partner =.=... but her plan failed
we stayed here for the rest of the day before going airport...

the original plan was to go to the cemetary to pay our respects to our grandpa and uncle but it was raining too heavily that the incents and burning paper would just sizzle and drown out so our aunt decided not to...

we then head to the airport and got there an hour early... this time our flight was not delayed =D so yes got back to sydney on time [10.30ish].... AND BOY IS THE WEATHER STUFFY... =.= i could hardly breathe... it was so humidddd... but one thing i love about flying back to sydney is the lovely sea of lights that welcome you back in comparison to getting to melbourne... apparently its because the sydney airport is close to the city and the melbourne airport isn't [according to andrea]
and wow to the taxi line!!!

when i got home i updated my mum and dad on how melbourne was and then interoggated them on this bizz i heard about hong kong... at first my parents were just like nooooo we're taking your grandma to timor... but they eventually gave in and WE'RE GOING HONG KONG!!!!! =D uhuh uhuh thats right... melinda's mum already booked the tickets... but apparently we were in melbourne when this all happened and thats why we didn't know... yeah even though they called us a couple of times they left the "oh we're going hong kong by the way" detail out of the conversations =.=

yesterday i spent the morning/afternoon with ness and then she had to pick up her brother and then go to work =]... gotta love that girl... even after a few months of not seeing each other i can still see how much she cares about me... she's never made my conversations feel stupid with the yeah whatever type response that i get from some people at times... i can always tell she genuinely cares about me ^-^... we went to bonnyrig so i could hand in some resumes... only most places don't collect resume's anymore.. they just do the online submissions >.< ah well

then at night went to the dinner with maggie jenny abarna vanessa daniel darren and the ron guy that was on the same train on the way home from jessica's farewell dinner =]... abarna fell in love with Dai Le as she was stunning that night... the food was deliciously yummy and we also got show bags ^-^...

it was a fun filling night and me and jenny were at war with vanessa and abarna =D...

yeah anyway... today i helped one of my cousins straighten her hair for a party and then did some more melbourne packing... i'm gonna leave for melbourne in a few hours... gotta drop by jenny's because me being the forgetful person i am happened to leave my identification and keycard and whatnot in jenny's bag last night >.<... and i need it for my flight =.=... then gonna go airport at 7.30... catch the 9.10 flight... get to melbourne around 10.45 if i remember correctly =S `thanks for the lovely msg wifey also my brother said he'd miss us for the first time in his life =D awwww how cute... i felt happy... even though he can be a douche at times... looks like he still has a heart ^-^ anyway ADIOS AMIGOS!!!

i just remembered jess fung telling me about Jay Chou and the new talent he signed under his music company: Cindy Yen... she is the first single female artist he has signed under his company... yeah they sang a duet for a song that she composed on her own... it's the first song Jay Chou has ever sung which wasn't composed by himself;

the first time i listened to it i must say i didn't really like it.... it seemed a bit broken... not flowy?... maybe i was analysing too much... but i gave it a second chance and listened to it without watching the clip and hey... it wasn't that bad =D... pretty good actually... especially for a new aspiring artist... she did a pretty good job composing huh? i'm sure she'll improve ^-^... though the style of music was quite different to the songs that jay chou usually sings i think they did a pretty good job duetting together... i guess sometimes it's good to give second chances =]

my dad wasn't home to drive me to the station today so i bussed it.... the whole way there was a fly... he just sat at the window sill and just stared at his own reflection... didn't move a millimetre... LOL wonder what he was thinking of...

anyway... today jessica fung came with me to go look for a present for my cousin's 21st and a dress i could wear for the ball =D

my original plan was to get her this swarovski bracelet.... key=21... cross=cristian[yeah my cousin is christian];

but then jessica fung pointed out that necklaces would be better since the bracelet might not be a good size for her wrist and she thought the necklace looked better... and i usually make bad decisions so i went with her choice and got this necklace for my cousin ^-^

at first we liked this necklace;

but when i tried them on.. we agreed the other one looked nicer so that one it was ^-^... we then spent ages walking around looking for an appropriate dress but failed... they were either loose... tight... didn't suit me... too low... or too expensive =( [if only i was rich]... the cheapest nice one was at the price of 110... i love how jess fung can analyse me and pick out stuff for me to try... because i'm not an observant shopper especially not for dresses... i hate shopping for dresses... i only get attracted to random "wastes of money" items as jessica nguy puts it...

vroom vroomm!!! today we went go-karting =D and might i say it was SO MUCH FUNNNNNNN!!!!!... derick drove me tien and peter and we ended up following a V van on the way there... apparently you can ask them for free cans of V if you see a V van... LOL so we followed it for a while until we figured they were trying to get away from us so we continued with our path LOL... yeah even though it was a hot day it wasn't so bad in the airconed car... and when we got there we got FREE slurpie =D.... anyway the cars were indeed very fast... now i know what daniel meant by 50 kilometres/hr being fast when your close to the ground and turning tight corners... there was lots of throwing about and what not and i managed to earn myself;
5 bruises... 3 on my legs... 2 on my back... with this being my worst [and am currently icing]...

some scratches...

some stuff that i got no idea what they were o.O...

and some blisters...

BUT it was ALLLLLL WORTH IT!!! =D had so much fun i didn't even realise the hotness until it was the end of our round and we had to get off =(...

we then went to cooks hill... it was my second time there and man i still love their salad dressing... i wonder how they make it =S

shortly after we decided to go to the pools... so me who still hasn't gotten swimwear just swam in my normal clothes LOL =]... so yehp that was nice for a hot day such as today... also went into the sauna they had there and someone put something in the rocks that smelled like TIC TACSSSSSS!!!!!!!! IT WAS SO YUMMY SMELLING lol =]

oh and this issss one of the resaons i take pictures... [so i remember what happens throughout the day... otherwise i forget... AND WHOOOOO WOULD WANNA FORGET THISSS?!?!]

hum hum hum..... yesterday my plans of tidying up did not go through... as i was watching my last episode of drama before i was gonna start tidying.. i got a last minute phone call from ken asking me to help him mark some of his students maths papers... there were 9 papers so i was like yeah sure.. shouldn't take too long... started around 7.30 and by 12.30 my migraines started to act up... so i told ken and elton took over... i manage to mark around 4 and a half papers in the period of 5 hours.... i guess my migraines are back for good.. i remember i had one a few weeks ago but i thought it might have been a one day thing.. because i stopped getting them for a period of over a year... =.= my mum thinks its because i was pulling all nighters and when i wasn't pulling all nighters i wasn't sleeping till 6 and that thats why they're back =.= ah welllll... guess i'm gonna have to get use to puking again [LOL you love that word don't ya jenny XP]

anyway since i was marking instead of tidying i figured i should tidy today... and i managed to get half done.... i got all the clothes off my bed and put them in my cupboard[if clean]/wash[if dirty] and changed my sheets... i love the smell of clean sheets because my parents was it witht he fragrance thing... and for now i'm left with a coverless quilt;

FREEEEE AT LAST!!!

WOOOOOOOOOHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! it is officially the holidays ^-^.... lets seeeee i ended up falling asleep for an hour or so during my allnighter yesterday.... but luckily my dad came knocking at around 6 asking what time my test started because if he didn't i would have slept in [i fell asleep before resetting alarms].... anyway GOODBYE surveying and GIS!!! [no i did shit if your wondering.... was only sure of around 20 marks assuming they give carry on error marks and half sure of around 35 marks... and then bullshitted around another few marks and left the rest blank] wow a whole year of uni has passed and we are offically not first years anymore ROFL!!! **throws confetti**

anyway... after the exam i was so tired + sleepy + starving = napped in the car =D... that was a nice [don't know how long] nap... then tien woke me up and we went to kfc...

while waiting for our order... sat down... and right next to my face was a;

=.= what a tease!!! my stomache was eating at itself!!!

we got a;

=D very filling indeed... when i got home my dad had made some of his very own pie... but i was too full so i'll eat it today instead;

i then lay infront of the tv half asleep to wait for my mum to finish showering... had a shower and then watched night at the museum because the shower had woken me up... then i flopped on my bed and slept like a pig until 8ish when my dad yelled at andrea to wake up because she had work and was still sleeping... was starting to doze off again after an hour or so of trying [my dad yells very very loud]... and then the doorbell rang.... on which some stranger was asking if i was timorese and where my parents were =S.... then i went back to bed and fell asleep for half an hour or so... and then the doorbell rang again.... =.= numerous times so i knew it was my grandpa.... i went to open the door and let him in but he decided to leave because my dad wasn't home... so i went back to my bed... and tried to fall asleep... but my neighbour who i think is building stuff started sanding metal... and you know that schreechy noise that is very hard on the ears... yeah no way i could fall asleep with that ringing in my head =.=... so i just lay in bed.... in which my other neighbour decides to mow their lawn =.=.... at this point i looked at the time... it was 11ish and i had already spent over an hour trying to fall asleep so i decided to just get up... 10 minutes or so after i got up both neighbours stopped =.= but i had already washed my face so i'm wide awake.... talk about catching up on sleep...........

also... i can't get over how weird the word "Snooze" looks ROFL... because whenever i put an alarm on.. i always see that word and hit the button... but it looks so weirdddddd~ snooze o.O... especially with the font on my phone's alarm =S

oh well... at least i'm uncapped today so i can download some dramas to watch =D... and i shall upload the many photos i've taken over the period i was capped after that one episode because i'm really itching to watch...

Three Down One to Go!!!

another 25 hours to go before i can sleep... 25 hours to cram allll of GMAT in because i still haven't read the lecture notes =.=... well technically 24 hours if i exclude the hour i'll be showering... 20 hours to cram if i exclude the hours i waste doing nothing...

MATERIALS was a fag and lets never talk of it again... other than that i was sitting right next to the window so i had a nice view of outside when i didn't want to look at the test questions...

on the way home.. Mr. hoang do bus service [aka tien] allowed me to go to woolies ^-^ yayyyyyy... so i got my chocolates which will help to keep me awake and focused when i decide to start cramming... yeah when i nibble on something i seem to be able to concentrate better =]

lets hope i can last this two days straight of all nighters... i've done it a few times before but not with an exam the next day... so this will be the first time i find out how well my brain can cope with no sleep for 2 days... what an experiment... todays test wasn't too bad with the no sleep for one day... like i didn't know half the answers but i don't think it was the lack of sleep... i think it was just because i didn't know the answers =S
` will i learn my lesson to not leave studying to the last minute?
~ probably not as we had already experienced the cramming with no sleep for a day for maths last sem and did not learn from our mistakes ROFLMAO =.=

All Nighter

lets see got home at 5 in the morning from tuesday's study session... this is the time when my mum is getting ready for work [she gets up at 4.30 and eats sits... changes... talks to my dad and then leaves the house at 5.15]...

as i approached the front door... my mum unlocked it for me with a "why are you back so late... who the hell studies till this time?" ROFL.... and i was like "us? =S" LOL and she continued with a "your friend's parents are gonna think you guys are retarded" ROFL... yeah i then said goodnight [on which my dad corrected me telling me it should be goodmorning] and went to my room, set my alarm to 11 and read through more notes which made no sense until i fell asleep... 11 o clock easily became a 2 o clock as i think i turned off my alarm and fell back asleep until it got too hot and woke me up....

=.= so to make up for that 3 hours study lost i am going to pull an allnighter tonight... also because i doubt i'll fall asleep anyway seeing as how i didn't sleep till 6 something in the morning and i'll have to wake up at 5.30 this morning to get ready by 6.15 on which the "hoang do bus service" [aka tien] comes to drive us to our 8.45 test

only now i'm kinda not bothered to study... because i don't seem to be remembering anything i read anyway... so lets hope that the test is easy tomorow and my guesses are right for the multiple choice sections... then i shall try sleep on the way home and pull another allnighter for GMAT on which i still haven't touched the lecture notes =.=... it's okay... 2 more days and it's alll over and i can sleep till the break of dawn ^-^

tonight my dad made a very [in my opinion] non asian dinner LOL....

it reminded me of the non asian dinners that you see on those ads with potato and meat and gravy LOL =D it was yummy and i think it was healthy too ^-^ what a combo

also i been shoving my face with lindt chocolate that my parents bought... theres this one where its got 2 layers of ilk chocolate and a milk layer in between... very very yummy... i hope there's still some lindt chocolate sales on... if there is i shall buy some tomorow after my exam if the "hoang do bus service" allows it =D

i am bored... now time to entertain myself for another 2 and a half hours before i get ready to go to randwick

yeah i've put off study for a few hours now because nothing was going into my head or making any sense and my brain does function better at night time so i'm just gonna wait till after i shower and go study group to study

Swine Drive.

yeah i went to get my swine flue shot today =] drove to the doctors and then my mum realised she brought her work bag instead of her going out bag LOL... so she didn't have her liscence with her... so i drove back home after the vaccination so she could get her bag... couldn't feel the injection.. the needle was so tiny... but now i can feel the soreness on my arm =S ah well... i like this doctor... not like my other doctor in cabramatta that doesn't even keep records of my illnesses =.=... this doctor is very nice and actually talks to me... he was asking about what uni i go to etc etc.. and what i do... and how aparently i don't look stressed for someone in the middle of exams =.= which is a bad thing... COME TO ME STRESS!!!!... need it to study >.<

i then drove out to fairfield to pick up andrea who then wanted to go to bonnyrig to buy a charger for her new phone... so i drove back home to pick up nelson so he wouldn't be standing outside our house waiting while we went to bonnyrig...

on the way out to bonnyrig.. i witnessed a car crash... no i didn't cause it LOL lucky it wasn't serious so no one was hurt or anything ^-^

at bonny we saw the flight rates for virgin blue to melbourne... currently our tickets are costing us 140 one way per person.. so its 280 return per person... but at the flight centre the lady helped us look up the cheapest rates which was a 170 return per person... so we might discuss with our cousin and aunt to see if they have already paid for the tickets and everything =]....

today i did a total of 3 parkings... only none of them will be tested in the Provisional lisence test =.=... yeah i just did a front on parking alongside the road instead of reverse parking since it was a pretty busy road and reverse parking might have taken too long and pissed people off... and then i did two of the parking type that they have at the shops car parks [if you have any idea what i'm on about]

and now i'm back home and i think i should get some study done not like yesterday =.= or i'm probably gonna end up regretting it...

AHHH yessss so last night we had a new study location... instead of the usual at daniel's we had it at tien's... and as usuallll his dad was cracking hilarious jokes ROFLMAO... yeah when we got to tien's house... tien was at the shops so his dad kept us company and entertained us...

here are some new facts that his dad shared with us;
` tien has 4 boyfriends and one girlfriend
` tien will not get a job in the holidays because he's a busy boy talking on the phone to his boyfriends and girlfriends ROFL
` tien will be getting married soon [in which he followed with the questions; "has he asked you yet?" to me and daniel ROFLMAO] - gotta love his dad
` tien is a good boy and a good cook [ =D how nice.. my dad would say i'm a horrible cook =.=]

his dad then let us know that if we get hungry "TIEN WILL COOK FOR YOU =D" with a big smile on his face indeed

and sooooooooooooooooo [forget which time probably 11 something =S] asked tien to cook his egg omlets in which he says he does a good job at =].... and omg it wassss DELISHHHH!!! i was like wow... simple but so yummy... there was no meat... just eggs sauce and some leaves which i'm not sure what they were >.<

also all of resident evil was on that night so we spent the night watching 2 and 3... missed out on 1 =(... hell it was exciting!!! [tien loved the naked lady scenes as he so nicely paused on the pretty girl's bare breasts =.=] i also got to watch an episode of my drama Autumn's Concerto which i had downloaded on daniels computer to leech his net while i'm capped... and tien also let me download another episode at his house so thats sitting on his sister's computer right now ^-^ YAYYYYY still get to watch my drama's even though i'm capped

=O TSK TSK panda's tag arrived today ^-^.... butttttt.... they wrote "PANDA" instead of "PANDY" **shakes head** =.=... well at least they got the contact numbers right =D

well so far up until the point that i got panda's dog tag... i have managed to read 5 pages of lecture notes for materials in the process of 3.5 hours.. =S dunnoe if thats productive or not productive thing.. i guess its better than nothing =]

and my dad told me just a while ago that our melbourne flights and accomodation has been booked... flying on friday 20th around 8-9pm =D but thats not till another 15 days so don't miss me just yet ;)...

YEAH due to my inability to go swimming in this terribly hot weather i ended up sitting infront of my computer screen watching the remaining 8 episodes of three dads and one mum... man i wish there was more of it... thats one thing i hate about finishing a drama.. you get so into it that you just don't want it to end =(... love the baby =D movies/dramas with baby's in them are always so cute ^-^... now theres 2 new episodes of the other dramas i've been watching only i'm capped and can't download it... the painnnnnn~!

oh well... i suppose tomorow i won't have any distractions so i will hopefully really start studying starting tomorow =D... only its so hard to study when its hot... i preffer studying when its cold =.=

LOL **pat pat** i'll enlighten you on my yesterday and today thus far

so yesterday me and julie went to acer arena to collect our tickets... only acer arena was barracaded with gates that said "WARNING AUTHORISED PERSONEL ONLY" for safety issues since they were setting up for saturday we walked in anyway ROFLMAO.. we did like ninjas and jumped the fence.. however all the doors were locked and there was only people that were cleaning and setting up inside... so julie called her friend who called up someone from the show to ask where tickets can be collected

` for future references; anyone that needs to collect a ticket for acer arena event... go to the aquatic centre =S

so yes that was the first time i set foot into the aquatic centre and boy it looks cool!!!! so want to go swimming there one day =D

in comparison to the earl grey twist... english breakfast had a much sweeter scent ^-^ which got me even more excited!!!

notice how here the tea leaves don't even fill half the infuser pod? and then BAMMM!!! it expands and takes up all the space provided =D

out of all the Madame Flavour teas... english breakfast smelt the sweetest... when i took my first sip.. there seemed to be a hint of honey milk flavour.... yummmyyyy!!!!!

and i must say... i love the colour of the english breakfast tea most ^-^... taste-wise they were all fantastic though so far i think i like green jasmine pear or the white with rose the most... [=( only ashfield woolworths sells the white with rose and sultry chai... so i shall go in the holidays =D]

Earl Grey Twist

[actually ended up posting this on the 10/27/09 at 2.40 AM but saved it as draft on the time shown at the bottom... incase theres any confusions about how this post majically appeared... didn't end up posting because i couldn't be bothered uploading pictures at the time and was watching dramas... and then went to double d's house [aka daniel duong's] for study session with the other engineering people so didn't end up posting =D... so this is what my sunday post was meant to be like]

woke up this morning and some of the zooper doopers were finally frozen... =S some were still liquid... didn't know it would take that long to solidify... oh well at least there were some already solidified so i got to eat one.... i then tried Madame Flavour's earl grey twist which i bought yesterday night along with english breakfast which i will probably try tomorow =]

when i first opened the package of the earl grey twist... i must say i didn't really like the smell of the tea leaves... they were different and not something i thought i would like much... but i said i would try every flavour so i did.... to my surprise it was actually quite niceee =D...

another interesting tea colour diffused as i poured the hot water into my clear tea cup... and it didn't smell as bad afterwards...

when i took my first sip i could taste something that i can't quite put my finger on... and it also gave off the impression that there was milk in the tea.. only there wasn't!!!... how interesting huh!?... kinda had a black tea with milk flavour.. but also something more that i can't figure out...

anyway it was yummyyyyy... and once again a tea i don't mind drinking without any sugar in it... honestly doesn't get any better than that seeing as how i'm a "diabetic" in dericks words...

i love looking at the dried tea leaves and then adding the hot water and watching them expand to fill the infuser pod ^-^... its also so cool how some water stays entrapped into the pod after you finish drinking all the tea and makes the tea leaves look extra fresh... yeah i kinda tried taking a picture of it to show but it doesn't look so clear... you kinda just gotta see it for yourselves next time i guess =]

after i showered i got a pleasant surprise when an unregistered number called me and turned out to be my cousin in melbourne... we had a nice long 2 hour chat all till my mobile was burning up and seriously heating my ear [=.= crappy phone]... it was a nice chat filled with randomness ^-^ can't wait to see her and the rest of my cousins when i go melbourne on the 20th =D...

since the dramas that i am currently watching are still being subbed i had run out of more episodes to watch....... that is until i remembered tim sun recommending me to watch life back in high school... i didn't end up downloading it yet until today because i was in the middle of watching other dramas at the time and then i forgot about it up until now... so now i'm watching life instead of studying =.=... damn i always remember things at the wrong times...

anyway today as i was lazing about on my computer chair talking to jessica on the phone... one of my hair strands fell out and i was just twisting it in my fingers and then it became this!!!;

LOL =.= hmmmmmmmmm.... yesssssss i ended up skiming through chapter 4 of calculus today... then i watched some dramas... all till now =.=... cbb studying algebra yet... maybe after another episode...

i downloaded a new drama called akai ito and started downloading the rest of this other drama called i want to become a hard persimmon which i had put off because the subbers stopped subbing it for a while... =] it has the cute girl from black and white in it and a pretty girl... and a very very handsome boy ROFL his personality in the drama is 100% my type ROFLMAO

damn i knew i shouldn't start watching dramas because once i start i can't stop =.=... oh well just one more episode and then i'll try start algebra... i'll just make sure i don't download any other episodes for now...

tomorow gotta go woolies to buy more essentials because i'm running out... this means i can also go buy the rest of Madame Flavour's tea ^-^... =.= gotta try stop myself from buying chocolate >.<

other than that... bleh... no i didn't end up studying chapter 4 because the monstrous migraines which i haven't had in a while decided to act up again last night... =.= so i went to bed at 10.30ish instead of starting on chapter 4... it's probably because i was studying calculus that made the migraine come =.=... that or because i had my computer's brightness on 20% for 30 minutes instead of 0% =.=...

wasn't going to go to uni because when i woke up.. yes migrain was gone... but the back of my head killed... that is when i moved my head anyway... and the nausea remained... so yes i lay in bed contemplating whether i should go to my algebra tute.... i then remembered that i had wanted to buy the Madame Flavour green jasmine pear tea so up i got and headed off to uni...

then yes i went to purchase this nicely packetted tea =D

the packaging makes me feel moreeeee.... royal? high class? like i have etiquette? no idea what i'm trying to construct.... but yes the packaging is so pretty ^-^... it's worth every cent

i'm going to collect each and every flavour with their each and every story behind it =]

then i went to my room to soothe my eyes with the dimness of my night-light and tried to nap... ended up not being able to nap so i went to shower and ended up browsing the web for jobs because i couldn't be bothered concentrating on study =.=... and no i haven't really found any i'm interested in... except for one =.=... all those hours of searching and i find one >.<... i guess one is better than none

oh well tomorow i plan on covering all of chapter 4 of calculus and covering all of algebra.............................................................. hopefully... =.= damn algebra... so hard to understand...

oh yes... and i bought a pack of crunchies today... and i finished all 12 on my own =.=

today i managed to get some studying done... so far i have almost finish learning all the theory for the calculus part of maths =]... all except for chapter 4 because there was so much to read and it was pretty boring.. so i'll be reading that after i post this...

in the middle of study i saw this box on my table that jessica gave me..

i read the box... and it sounded interesting... then i spotted a website on the box so i decided to visit it ^-^...

after visiting the website i couldn't hold myself back from trying it..
sooooo i decided to use my clear glass teacup which i haven't used till this very day since i've been waiting to get my clear glass teapot before using it... but hey i thought that this kind of tea would go nicely in a clear teacup rather than an ordinary cup ^-^

doesn't the teacup look pretty? it makes the colour of the tea stand out and look so clear ^-^.... and i must say the aroma was so nice and gentle... and the feel of the tea going down your throat was so soothing... it just flows down nicely leaving a subtle taste of rose... i felt so much calmer and happier after drinking this white with rose tea... unlike other teabags... the infuser pod that is madame flavour is unique and interesting =]

anyway... tomorow i plan on buying more of this tea after uni... but i think i'll try the green jasmine pear flavour this time ^-^ how exciting!!!

yehp yehp... so today i woke up at 12 to get ready for vee's... only my dad wasn't home so i decided to go back to bed... in which i then found out that he had taken my brother to the city and that was why they were absent... so me and jenny decided we would walk to vee's house... =D but vee's nice daddy offered us a lift ^-^.. how nice of him

WOOHOOOO i'm 60 bux richer =D... because aaron julie and andrea decided to leave money on the table for me in exchange for alcohol.. =.= [stupid idiots should have just taken it all for free]... yeah i was in the shower at the time and didn't even notice until julie said on the phone... =.= but yeah i suppose its because i got my horrible habbit of not paying attention to my surroundings... which yeah jessica you know all about... LOL

anyway.. i played with panda today... she got a lot fluffier =D... i forgot to take a picture =(.. oh well... next time i suppose ^-^... she's as lively as ever.

we spent an hour or so trying to figure out how to connect the laptop and dvd player to the big tv in julies lounge room before calling quits and heading to julies room to watch wrong turn 3 via her ps3 =D... IT WAS HONESTLY GROTESQUE... definitely not for people with weak stomaches... no wonder why it wasn't released in cinemas... they didn't want people puking in there... for all the rest of you that are not weak stomached... do watch it... it's quite interesting... might make you never want to go hiking or going on a road trip or drive in the woods ever again though LOL...

other than that i better go sleep soon... gotta be at vee's at 1:30 for FREE food ^-^ she says her mum's bbq's are the best... so i can't wait to try it.. =]

lol today me and vee went over to jenny's house to play... we watched orphan which was rather disturbing and really annoying... yeah SPOILER COMING UP SO DON'T READ NEXT PARAGRAPH IF YOU DON'T WANT THE MOVIE SPOILT

the husband was the most annoying piece of poop everr!!!! i felt like strangling him... honestly... how stupid can you get... full trying to cover up for that girl and not believing his wife... AND ALMOST FALLING FOR THAT LITTLE 35 YEAR OLD CHICK'S SEDUCTIVE MOVES WHEN HE THINKS SHE'S 9 AND IS HIS ADOPTED DAUGHTER!!!! disgustingggg... she has the most disturbing ways of killing people.. it's extra disturbing because she looks like a nine year old so you got the mentallity of a 9 year old doing those murderous acts like killing someone with a hammer... felt so sorry for the little girl max... but its so stupid how she wouldn't tell her mum the truth even when the little ester girl wasn't in hearing or seeing reach... oh god and the way ester says "daddy" is so freaky...

enough said about the movie SPOILER OVER

anyway... we then watched the beginning of the hanna montana movie to lighten the atmosphere... i've never watched any of her tv shows... and after watching the first few minutes of hanna montana.. i must say i preffer hilary duff LOL =D

we then decided to bake some cake so we drove to jenny's local shops... on the way there was a car in front of us with the weirdest windscreen washing thing... the water [which is meant to spray on your windscreen] squirt over the car... it was amazing.. almost reached jenny's car even but jenny didn't drive up close enough for the free water to wash her car LOL... me and vee attempted to take a picture only we were too slow and when we got our phones out... the water show had ended...

anyway we got to the store and don't these girls look sexy? =D

we bought the cake mix and some pasta for dinner =D... it was fun decorating it and stuff

love actually then went on and i saw colin firth!!! so then i remembered the movie with amanda bynes in it which also starred him... where he was her dad and was royalty and she sets out to look for him.... spent ages trying to remember the movie name.. and then i figured it would be smarter to just google... i then found out the movie's name was what a girl wants... i want to watch it again... i remember liking that movie but can't remember much of it...

also while watching tv the natural ad with the sand paintings i was talking about came on.. its a lowan ad =]

WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE NO MORE TESTS/ASSIGNMENTS/QUIZES/LABS/PRACS UNTIL FINALS ^-^!!!! i'm so happy its all over =].... welll didn't do too good in algebra test today... didn't know wth i was doing apart from 4 marks worth of the test but oh well =D
**drools** had the best 2 hour nap after uni today... just flopped onto my bed and fell asleep right away... which is really rare for me what with my sleeping problems =.=

it was still early and my lab didn't start till 2... so i decided to go to japan city to see if they had even more sales... =] on the way i noticed the pretty lights on the ceiling =]

they had sales on really pretty teasets... but i have to save for the holidays such as going to melbourne and beach house =(... so not going to get any of them... i guess when i'm older and richer and have a house of my own to display the teasets in i'll buy some... and i suppose i did say i'll only buy one teaset a year =/... and this year i've already bought 1 and a half >.<... then went back to uni and lazed about on the library lawn and drank tea and ate a cupcake from maggie's oxfam store =D...

yeah as we were about to head off to our lecture... saw the blue man... see if you can spot him... i took it from a distance =.= then my phone ran out of batteries when i was up close and had permission to take a picture LOL

LOL i know how you feel jessica.... i only started studying for the test i have on tuesday this morning... this is because i was bludging from thursday till last night with melinda and nelson...

tried to wake up at 9 today only i lagged until 10.40.. just kept snoozing and resetting my alarm... then i started to do some studying at 12.30 after trying to get into the study mood for a while.... after that i managed to cram everything i need to know for my cven test on tuesday... well i just read through the tute questions and made sure i understood the solutions =D... haven't actually done the questions on my own yet.. except for like 2 of the questions... still i'm quite proud of myself for actually doing something =]... hopefully i can get a good mark for this last class test... =S which are worth quite a bit... 10%, 15% and 10%... thats already 35%... i guess thats why we didn't have a midsem for this subject...

productive day today... i am hoping my cramming habits will be suitable for the rest of my uni life... i'm so use to bludging untill a few days before the test in which the cramming and stressing cycle comes... though derick did point out that it gets a lot harder down the track =.= so i suppose i should try get out of this cramming habit too >.<

oh well i'm glad i did some work today... i think i'll get back to it and actually do the questions on my own now..

yesterday woke up early in the morning to go to the museum with andrea julie melinda nelson and brenden... lucky we didn't get lost what with my brilliant sense in direction and all =D... the museum was pretty interesting... the main reason i wanted to go was because of dinosaur bones... had the sudden urge due to the big bang theory =]... there were dinosaurs... insects... birds... other reptiles... extinct animals... mummys... pretty crystals... highlight;

the girls then arrived HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO DILINI... and we head off to the thai restaurant which had food bursting with flavour... had a great time catching up and laughing at random stuff with them =D

Wall Of Art =]

melinda and nelson slept over last night =]... i decided we should all go jogging in the morning... so when we woke up.. we changed and julie came to jog with us... we were walking out of the house and then it was starting to rain!!!!! =.= so we had to wait for the rain to subside... eventually it wasn't raining much anymore so we set off =D this time i jogged a bit pass the corner before i started to huff and puff and start walking =] still unfit but more fit than the first time around... julie on the otherhand was out of sight after the first minute or so =.= i was like wth... she's a machineeee.... eventually we had to run back home as it started to rain again =.=...

we then sat in andreas room lazing about for a while until julie decided she wanted to walk to bonnyrig to do some bank deposits or something... so me and melinda walked with her =D yehp thats right... alll the way to bonnyrig plaza from my house.. on the way there it was raining like crazy... my legs felt like they got frost bites... we went through the t-way path and julie said she wanted to find one certain graffiti on the wall which allows graffiti-ing =].. and here it is

i find it amazing how skillfull people can be with spray paints... the details are amazing... i've tried spray painting a box before and it was so hard to control... i don't get how they can make such concentrated lines or paint these pictures without making errors... its nice that the streets can be decorated with pretty graffiti... some of them display their interests... some of them show their emotions... all of them have their own little stories and meanings =] i would love to watch someone while they graffiti their piece of art on a wall one day...

on the way home it was sunny... and we were almost at my doorstep when i realised... I LOST MY PHONEEEEE!!!!!!! $550 phone... $27 credit... priceless pictures!!!! i was like holy shittttttttt.... so julie and melinda walked all the way back with me... we retraced our steps.... passed one of the parks that i was thinking i dropped it at... but we reached the end and my baby was nowhere to be seen... i then started to get scared... julie was pranking it as we went... it was ringing so i knew that a car didn't crush it if it was on the road... and if someone picked it up they probably would have switched it off if they wanted to keep my phone... so i was a bit more at ease... we then reached the tway... close to the pretty art-filled wall.... i saw a silver flat thing on the floor... RAN TOWARDS IT... AND... TADAAAAAA it was my poor phone... =D i was so relieved... we then walked back home... huge work out LOL... lucky i didn't lose my house keys that my mum and dad entrusted to me for the second time of my life... ROFL

haha today had a tute for an hour... our tute wasn't even here so we had a sub... after that i was heading off to the city to help melinda find her formal dress =] [more detail tomorow]... yehp yehp its almost that time of the year.. year 10's got their formal coming up.... anyway the bus took forever to come.. i literally stood at the stand for around 10 minutes... then one of william's friends thomas was walking pass because he decided not to go to his tute anymore... so he stood there and we were talking for 10 minutes... AND THE BUS STILL DIDN'T COME... he then realised it would be faster to just give me a lift to central =D so i didn't have to wait for the bus... and didn't have to sit in the crowded bus either HOORAYYY =D

GAYYY I'M CAPPED =.=....

yesterday i asked my mum again about going taiwan at the end of the year... and she said she was kind of worried about the typhoon and stuff... but we might go hong kong... [=.= this is so de ja vu and i'm not surprised if we end up going nowhere >.<]... i also jogged/walked around my block for an hour and my legs and tummy were so sore today...

anyway today i went to uni to spend some fun time with some fun people and hand in my chem lab report ^-^.... after that i went to the city to get my clear glass teapot... =.= only when i got to T2, they still didn't have a style that i wanted... so i remembered i saw a place in china town sell it when i went out one night with julie andrea and aaron to krn bbq and ice cream at darling harbour... so i walked from qvb.... got somewhat lost =S... until i saw an exit

yeah turns out i was in town hall square =S... didn't even know that existed... on the left down at the corner there was KFC and on the right there was a bridge =D.... i immediately knew where i was ^-^.... so i headed to china town to find that store to buy the teapot that i wanted... only when i got there... THEY SOLD OUTTT!!!!!! =( apparently they sold out yesterday >.< and don't know when they'll have new stock because they get their tea sets imported from japan and taiwan...

i then walked to market city to see if the other asianny store would have any... =( but noo.... but i did buy this teaset instead ^-^

it was only 25 bux so i figured why not =D... its cute... came with a filter... and japanesey... all for a good price... [still want to buy a whole collection from japan city **drools**]

i was then content... since i didn't want to go home empty handed or i'll feel like i just wasted all that time for nothing... as i was exiting market city i saw the new kfc... and i remembered mel.q telling me the gaytime krush actually tasting like the gaytime ice cream... and remembered jessica telling me that its actually quite nice... so i figured i'd give it a go...

AND WOWWW~!!! it really does taste like golden gaytime... i think the crunchy pieces really played a role in it's taste... mmmm yummmyyyyyyy **licks lips**... =.= there goes all the calories i burned from excercising yesterday... ah well it was well worth it ^-^

YAYYY... because i'm on the verge of being capped.. i decided it would be a smart idea to do my materials report while my internet is still at top notch speed. =D AND I FINALLY FINISHED WOOHOOOO!!!! ^-^... i can now bludge... only i'm drama-less since i'm refraining from using my last 1 gig of downloads left seeing as how i don't get uncapped until the 14th and i do not want to have to last 9 days of slow internet... >.<

anyway... STORMS WON!!!!!!! HEHEHE TAKE THAT JULIE!!!!! i knew going against you would be a good idea XP congrats to andrea who won 50 bux on this note. [no i did not gamble]

anyway.. today derick came to study from epping and we went to tiens house to drag him out seeing as how we couldn't reach him in any way and being the concerned friends we are we drove over LOL... and what do we find?
TIEN MAPLING AND TOO BUSY TO OPEN THE DOOR FOR US ROFLMAO so his dad walks all the way from his living room to kindly open the door for us.. while tien sits just 4 meters from the door on his computer mapling LOL funny tien...

tien was cold so darren kindly tightened his hood for him...

tien was still cold so derick gave him an extra pair of pants on his head...

tien finally finding it hot so he slowly emerged from his cacoon

anyway after studies.. we were watching big bang which gave me the urge to want to go to the museum... so off i head on friday ^-^ love how i don't have uni on fridays now!!!

other than that cousins came over and so i got the chance to watch Up with brenden... yeah it was a rather enjoyable movie... in my opinion it was cute, funny, and touching... =D

and now i am free to bludge but have nothing left to watch =.= please please let the 14th come quickerrrrrrrrr
